For my Birthday month, back in January, I received the Marc Jacobs Eau So Fresh Perfume. It is my first ever owned Marc Jacobs fragrance. I have always admired the whimsical bottle displays by the designer and was therefore very excited to have one in my collection. This version is a flanker from the original Marc Jacobs Daisy, thus the iconic bottle design. The packaging is delightful, from the box to the fragrance. The daisy flower motifs imprinted all over the pink box, along with the 3D petal designs on the cap make this perfume a show stopper. It would be a definite centrepiece on a vanity or avid scent collector's shelf. I have the whopping 125ml in the Eau De Toilette Spray. The elegant bottle stands tall alongside other fragrances. I adore the light colour of the pink juice inside the bottle with the movable daisy flowers on the cap.

From the flower packaging to the actual fragrance, Daisy Eau So Fresh encapsulates Spring. It has notes of Raspberry, Pear, Grapefruit and green notes at the top. Towards the centre: Litchi, Violet, Jasmine, Rose and Apple blossom are found. At the base are Virginia Cedar, Musk and Plum. Upon an initial spritz, the green notes and fruity accords such as Grapefruit and Raspberry shine through. I can smell it on my skin immediately. It gives a fresh leaf and fruity scent that reminds me of the first buds peaking through in Spring. As the fragrance dries down, it turns into a light floral scent with the rose and Jasmine peaking through. Once it has settled on the skin, it turns sweet, like freshly picked flowers. I love the combination of fruity and floral notes. This blend is attributed to its charming appeal. The green note is quite strong in this version, hence the crisp and fresh aroma. I am not too fond of green notes as they can turn bitter on me, but I love the amalgamation with the fruit and musk notes. It gives the perfume dimension, not making it your typical green floral scent.

The Longevity of Daisy Eau So Fresh is moderate and lasts between 4 to 6 hours. It is a very light scent and not beast mode at all. As you walk into a room, you will not leave a trail behind. Someone who is near you will be able to smell the lovely aroma. The fragrance is perfect for those who desire to smell fresh and pretty, but not overpowering. This is a great option to wear at the office, on a plane or at relaxing weekend, out and about. If you suffer from allergies, Daisy Eau So Fresh is a great option, as it is light and pleasant on the nose. Anyone around you will appreciate the subtle sweet and crisp scent. This version of Daisy is an excellent blind buy as a gift or even a first-time fragrance purchase as well. It truly is prettiness contained in a bottle!
