Stila is becoming one of my favourite makeup brands. They launched in South Africa last year and I have been discovering awesome products from this brand ever since. I recently received Sheer Color Tinted Moisturizer SPF20. This is an oil free tinted moisturiser that comes in 10 shades. It has light diffusing pigments which reduces the appearance of lines, wrinkles and redness in the face. 


I hardly ever wear foundation so I love the idea of a two in one application when it comes to moisturisers and applying foundation cover. It comes in a slim tube that can be carried in any handbag which makes for easy travelling and application use. 

 The cream is non greasy, light weight in texture and not sticky at all. It blends wonderfully into the skin and matched my skin tone perfectly. I use my finger tips to blend the cream in and a little goes along way. I love that it has a SPF20 so you can feel confident when walking in the sun. The coverage is from light to medium and covers well. If you don't suffer from heavy breakouts or serious pigmentation problems this will be great for you. I love that it leaves my face looking radiant and natural.

This product unfortunately consists more of foundation than a moisturising cream. You will have to apply your normal day cream under this to keep your skin moisturised. Make sure you choose a matching shade for your skin tone as well or you'll end up looking like you applied runny fudge to your face. Never a good look! 

This is a really great tinted moisturiser for someone who is not a fan of foundation and wants something that is easy to use. Or if you never used foundation this would be a great product to start with first. When I use any type or form of foundation I prefer the ''I don't look like I'm wearing makeup'' look. I choose products that leave me looking as natural as possible. This is it! Plus living in South Africa under the hot sun, an added bonus of a SPF20 makes me very happy.

    I love Stila products & I'm also not a fan of foundation... I will definitely have to try this! I still haven't found a tinted moisturizer that I love so maybe this will be the one :)

    I use The Elizabeth Arden one, I'm also not a fan of foundation. I'll have to try this, is it oil free?

      Hi!:-) Yes it is oil free. I love that it has a spf. Some brands don't offer that.

    I also prefer tinted moisturiser. Do you find the SPF20 sufficient? It's quite low.

      Hi Odette!:-) I wear my normal day cream under this and it has a SPF30 so I feel covered:) Probably depending on your skin type I'm sure it will be fine if you not planning to spend most of your day the sun.
